A factory for every European region.

An empty industrial hall with skylights, before fit-out

Factory Franchise is a concept for local electronics manufacturing across Europe. Each site would be owned and run by a local entrepreneur, making boards close to the people who design them.

Setting up a production line means sourcing and importing machines, checking conformity, hiring and training a team. We are developing a repeatable plan, targeting six months from contract to first paid orders.

Factory Franchise is a private initiative based in Berlin, started by Johan P Stam and Leon Meier. A first pilot is planned for 2027.

Johan P Stam (Hans) focuses on hardware, supply chain, supplier relationships and equipment sourcing in China.

Leon Meier focuses on the business model and operating software.
