A factory starts with a conversation.
The concept starts with your building, customers and plans. Together, we would assess the site requirements, financing, team and timeline. The target is first paid orders six months after contract, subject to site readiness and delivery.
The planned package covers equipment sourcing, import, CE conformity checks, installation, training and operating software. The local entrepreneur would own and run the business.
The planned six-month setup
- Before signing
Application and site check
The proposed process begins with a review of the building, customers and financing, followed by written contract and cost information at least four weeks before signing.
- Month 0
Contract and order
Order the line and schedule the site work: electrical, ESD flooring, compressed air and nitrogen supply.
- Months 1 to 2
Build and acceptance test
Build the machines and carry out the factory acceptance test with the site’s process engineer.
- Months 2 to 4
Shipping and site preparation
Arrange sea freight, customs and delivery. Hire operators and prepare the site’s quality documents.
- Months 4 to 5
Installation and training
Installation, CE conformity check of the complete line, acceptance test and one month of hands-on training on site.
- Month 6
First orders
Target the first paid orders. Prepare for ISO 9001 certification after documented operation and an independent audit.
What the concept is built on
- 1
One standard. Every site.
A shared documented process, built on ISO 9001 and IPC-A-610, with consistent inspection and traceability. Each site would need its own certification.
- 0
No earnings promises.
No earnings guarantees. Results would depend on each site’s orders. The planned setup process includes cost information and support for a site-specific business plan.
- 5
A five-year term.
The concept uses a five-year term. The final agreement would set out the obligations, exit and renewal conditions in writing.
What you bring
A building.
Production space with three-phase power, compressed air and a nitrogen supply, usually a bulk tank outside that needs a permit. A site specification is part of the planned package.
Customers.
Signed orders or letters of intent for a substantial share of the first year. The concept requires an order book review before committing to a line.
Capital.
Confirmed financing for the line, fit-out and startup costs. The required budget would depend on whether the line is leased or bought and the starting order book.
A team.
An owner who runs the site, a process engineer and operators. Hiring profiles and on-site training are part of the planned package.
A company.
A limited company, for example a GmbH or a BV, that signs the agreement and owns the business.
Five years.
The concept uses a five-year term, with full conditions provided before any agreement.
Who it is for
Hardware companies
You design electronics and want your own production for prototypes, small series or sensitive products.
Electronics manufacturers
You already build electronics and want an additional line or a new site on a fixed schedule.
Production managers
You have run electronics production for others, know customers who would order from you, and want your own factory.
