Is this a franchise?
It is a franchise concept. A first pilot is planned for 2027. The plan is to open the franchise system to further sites after at least twelve months of pilot operation, with full written information before any agreement.
Is Factory Franchise part of the EU or a government?
No. It is a private initiative. It is not run, endorsed or funded by the European Union, any EU institution or any national government.
Do you provide customers?
Not at the start, and we make no promises about orders. You need your own order book. Central sales for customers who want several sites is planned once several sites are running.
Do you publish expected earnings?
No. Results would depend on each site’s orders, prices and team. The planned setup process includes cost information and support for a site-specific business plan.
What does it cost?
The budget depends on line financing, site fit-out and the starting order book. The concept includes a one-time setup fee, a monthly software licence per line, a service contract and a system fee on revenue. Costs and terms would be provided in writing before any agreement.
Where do the machines come from?
The plan is to source from established equipment manufacturers in Asia, including China, with import, CE conformity checks and European spare-parts support. Boards would be built in Europe by the local team.
Who services the line?
The proposed service contract includes European spare-parts stock, remote support and yearly maintenance. The service arrangements will be defined for the pilot.
Who owns the machine data?
The concept gives each site ownership of its production data and the ability to export it. The operating software is planned and is not available yet.
What contract term is planned?
The concept uses a five-year term. The final contract would set out the exit and renewal conditions before any agreement.
Can I lease the line instead of buying it?
Leasing is one of the planned financing routes. Availability and terms would depend on the site and its financing.
